He has been in the role of DBA, developer, architect, and performance lead but always leans on his DBA and performance tuning experience. He loves providing training and coaching to clients and colleagues and has been recognized as a SQL Server MVP by Microsoft for four years in a row, since 2011. John Sterrett

John Sterrett is an independent consultant who focuses on stabilizing performance, availability and operations for clients who are having SQL Server problems. Previously, John was a Sr. Database Admin Advisor for Dell, directly responsible for several mission-critical databases behind dell.com. John has presented at many community events, including PASS Summit, SQLRally, 24 Hours of PASS, SQLSaturdays, PASS Chapters, and Virtual Chapter meetings. Scott Walz

Scott Walz has more than 20 years of experience in the area of database development and currently serves as the Director of Software Consultants for Embarcadero Technologies.  Prior to joining Embarcadero 12 years ago, Scott served as a development lead for Louisville Gas & Electric. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Western Kentucky University.
